true to size! i got a small because i lost about 10-12 pounds (i used to be a medium) and it fits me very nice. the skirt is in fact very small as well so be careful with that, it also stretches a wee bit more than the top. the only thing i don’t like is that the feathers fall off easily. other than that the texture is soft/silk.
